Young trees watered in various streets of the

W ards. Couch grass topdressed with sweepings, Har-

rold Street. Largs. Lawns mown and topdressed in the

various Reserves of the Wards,also playing arena mown

with grass cutter and goal posts and cricket pitches

attended to.

Hoops placed around lawn near bathing kiosk, and

screenings placed on footway, Semaphore Esplanade.

Pine trees trimmed Old Port Road Plantation, and

water service removed from Port Road Plantation.

Playing arena topdressed with sweepings, Largs

Reserve. Tamarisk hedge trimmed, Todd's Reserve.

Flower beds prepared and climbing roses planted at

Pergolas Company's Reserve.

Trees topped to clear telegraph wires in the various

Wards.

Gum trees removed and tennis courts put down,

Largs Reserve.

Boxthorn hedge trimmed at Oval, the mound ex

tended on the eastern side, playing arena mown, cricket

pitches topdressed, wickets prepared. Oval prepared

for horses-in-action, football and various other enter

tainments, and the Oval attended to generally.

Fjower borders and shrubs attended to at cemetery,

and refuse cleaned up.
