Nurse-Inspectress Tait has also•worked well and has
displayed the tact necessary for the harmonious fulfil
ment of her duties in infected premises. The large
epidemic of Measles was well ma,naged by her in spite
of her severe handicap in having poor travelling facili
ties at her disposal. She is to be congratulated and
thanked for her work done on foot when vehicular trans
port was not always available. I trust that a motor
vehicle will be placed at the disposal of the Inspectoral
Staff within the near future.
In conclusion, I wish to express my appreciation of
the uniform courtesy extended to me by yourself and the
members of the Board and Staff generally.
I am, Sir, your faithfully,
PERCIVAL T. S. CHERRY,M.B., B.S.,
Officer of Health.
To the Chairman,
Local Board of Health,
Port Adelaide.
