The total number of persons now resident within
the City and rejiorted to he suffering fn^m pulmonary
tuberculosis is 49. During the }'ear, 8 persons were cer
tified as not now being capable of conveying infection to
other persons; there were 21 death.s.
ENTERIC FEVER.
Of the two cases reported, only one was a local case;
the other was brought into the district for treatment at
a private hospital.
HOSPITAL CASES.
The following cases were removed to hospital:—
Diphtheria, 08; Scarlet Fever, 4; Whooping Cough, 7;
I'lierperal Sepsis, 7; Erysipelas, 2; Chickenpox, 2. The
number of tubercular cases is difficult to estimate, as
most of the cases receive hospital treatment during the
j'ear,
