Women MovingWisely

WiseMove forWomen is a ten week

program designed to build wellbeing

and create opportunity to connect with

others.The program focuses on physical

activity and is framed around our 7

Ways toWellbeing- Connect, Learn,

Be Active,Take Notice, Give Back, Eat

Well and SleepWell. Topics are guided

by participant interests and include

body kindness, dressing to impress,

Pilates and TaiChi. The program will be

offered throughout the year at Lefevre

Community Stadium and the new Lights

Community and Sports Centre.

New Tai Chi Program

The Taoist Tai Chi Society is a not for

profit, international group which runs

classes all over Adelaide and in the hills.

The organisation will celebrate 15 years

of Tai Chi in Adelaide next year and has

recently been running sessions at Kilburn

Community Centre twice a week on

Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Men’s Shed Opening Soon

A Community Men’s Shed is where

people volunteer their time using their

skills to make goods for local projects.

Funded by the Department of Premier

and Cabinet and supported by the City

of PAE, the new Regency Community

Men’s Shed is looking for senior people

to join its committee, to use their trade

and craft skills, learn new ones, and to

make new friends.

VolunteersWanted

We are looking for volunteers to help

out at Kilburn Community Centre

during the school holidays. The role will

include setting up giant games, which

include Jenga, Kerplunk, hopscotch and

mini golf, and helping children and their

parents to play the games.

Growing For Gold

Kids aged 3-16 can come and try a

variety of sports for free at local clubs

these school holidays.
